Outdoor entertainment: L’Escadrille (France) – This ambulatory burlesque trio will perform an act based on the theme of ‘The Shadows’.

Outdoor entertainment by L’Escadrille will take place in the car park opposite the theatre’s entrance about 45 minutes prior to each performance. In addition, before the shows and during the interval, close-up magicians, mostly from Nice’s Club de MAGICA, will perform in the bar-foyer area.

To commemorate the latest edition of Monte Carlo Magic Stars a stamp will be issued on 17th June 2009 by The Stamp Issuing Office of Monaco at a value of 0.73 Euros featuring a work of art conceived by the famous painter Spencer Hodge especially for the occasion reflecting the “fantastical” aspect of the chosen theme. The painting will also be available as a poster.

This list does not correspond to the order of appearance during the performance.

A Senior Jury and a Junior Jury will be present on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October to award the Golden Wand, the Silver Wand and the Special Awards.

Members of the Senior Jury are traditionally personalities from show business and the world of magic. This year it will be made up of Eric Eswin, International President of the International Federation of Magic Societies - FISM (Netherlands) and Francesco Bouglione, Director of the Bouglione Winter Circus in Paris, the singer and actress Lorie and Dani Lary, a French magician who was awarded a Silver Wand at the 6th edition of the Monte Carlo Magic Grand Prix….

The Junior Jury is composed of 6 pupils who attend schools in Monaco).

Tickets cost 47 Euros for adults and 24 Euros for students and under 21s. Ticket prices for the Gala Evening are of 50 Euros and 25 Euros respectively.
