Loss of monegasque nationality

- Voluntary acquisition of Monegasque nationality (article 8)
 
- Renunciation in cases expressly foreseen by Law :

. A child who benefited from the collective effect of naturalisation while a minor (article 6)
. A child adopted in the simple form whose consent was not required (article 2)
. A child of whom one of the parents kept their foreign nationality (article 12).

    Nationality is renounced in the year after the child reaches his/her majority (18 years).

    - Carrying out military service in a foreign army without authorisation from the Monegasque government (article 18).

    - Monegasque nationality acquired through naturalisation can be withdrawn by Sovereign Decree following consultation with the Council of the Crown :

    .during the year of the definitive sentencing of any person sentenced for having undermined the country’s internal or external security,

    . within a period of five years from the aforementioned naturalisation, for any person on the Director of Legal Services’ report and following assent from the Council of State (article 10).

    -Conditions of issue for Apostilles
    -Documents issued by the Office of the Clerk of the Courts
    -Documents issued by the Town Hall
    -Legalisation of signatures and documents
    -Monegasque identity card
    -Monegasque nationality
    -Monegasque passport
    -Resident card
