OCEANOMANIA will be closing its doors at 7 p.m. on Friday 30th September: only a few days left therefore to discover this exhibition!
The Villa Paloma will be re-opening for Heritage Day on 16th October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with:
- on the ground floor “La Table des Matières”, a constantly evolving area thought up by Jonathan Olivares, an American designer, 2011 winner of the Compasso d’Oro.
- on the 1st and 2nd floor, “Du Rocher à Monte Carlo”, original photographs of the Principality of Monaco, 1860-1880 (collection put together by Christian Burle, now belonging to the Prince’s Palace)
- in the Videoroom on the 2nd floor, a film by Javier Tellez, Letter on the blind, for the use of those who see, 2008 (acquired by the NMNM in 2011)
- on the 3rd floor, Caroline of Monaco, portraits by Helmut Newton, Francesco Vezzoli, Andy Warhol and Robert Wilson.
These exhibitions will be open until 8th January 2012.
In the Villa Sauber, Looking Up – on aura tout vu présente la collection de Galéa, a selection of dolls, automatons and miniature furniture from Galéa’s collection, presented by the Parisian Haute Couture fashion designers “On aura tout vu”, will continue to be on show until 29th January 2012.
